My sister and her friend came into town. My sister got into town at noon
on Saturday, but the friend (who I've never met) was getting in at
2:30am on Saturday. So I say "take a cab, and call me when you get
here", and then she calls and says her flight is delayed. until
4:30am!!!!!!! out of the goodness of my heart, and because i need to
pick up segerson's rental car, i go pick her up at 4:30am!!!!! and then
we go back and pass out while waiting for my sister.
ok, so in the AM, we wake up, and go get breakfast. and that's when
friend-who-i-just-met is like "oh and by the way, my two friends who are
in san juan to party tonight will be staying on your floor tonight" and
i'm like uhhhhhhh.........what floor?
now see, this is a big deal, since on Friday, i get a frantic call from
my cousin Nitya in LA, saying "my roommate Niti is in town, and shit
went down, can she crash at your place?" and of course, i don't turn
away people when shit goes down, so of course not. so now, it's me,
girl-i-just-met, Niti, sister, and two randoms. a total of 6 for
Saturday night. So i do the only thing that anyone could do in this
situation. I whine at Trevor and say "Can I sleep at your place?
PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE?????" (He says yes because he's a big giant teddy
bear like that)
in any case, after the two randoms show up, i'm thinking, cramped, but
they'll be outta there soon. as of Monday when i go to work, they're
STILL THERE. i mean, they're nice and all, but they're random! and not
once was i ever asked permission for this tomfoolery! so i asked my
sister in a hostile manner if they had at least asked her, and even she
said "THIS IS WEIRD!!!!!!! NO ONE ASKED ME ANYTHING!!!!!!!!"
anyways. they're gone now. they weren't imaginary. actually, there were
5 of them. 6 inlcluding me, but i might just be imaginary.
