Shady Weekend

Friday night, derric and i went out and got hammered. everyone laughed
at us, including the bartender. and then we took a cab back to the
apartment, but the cab driver had been smoking so much weed in the cab
that he was COMPLETELY stoned, and as a result, derric and i got a
little giggly in the backseat ourselved. hehehehehe.

Saturday, derric wakes me up at 9am, and tells me that there's some
unknown woman cleaning his apartment for him, so apparently, he has a
maid, and i, who sheds like an afghan hound, am sweeping my own
apartment! HMPH!

so then we hit this weak-ass surfing contest, and that is all i will
say about that. weak. so i went back to my place, and made scones! yay!
(umm, fitness scones) and for dinner, me, derric, stephanie, and
shashank went out to tantra. derric and i split a hookah, and i got a
little lightheaded. but not too much, since i woke up at 7:30 on Sunday
and we went to Vieques.

ooh, that was shady. first, i made a shady reservation under my first
name only for all three of us to fly out of fajardo. then, we got there,
and it turns out the reservation was only for a one way trip.
hmmmm.....so we went anyways, in the shadiest plane yet! it was like a
long box, with schoolbus seats, and windows with wholes in them!

so then we get there, this cab driver says he'll take us to a rental
car place, but the entire island is sold out! then he says he has a
friend who'll drive us around the island. but he's busy after 1:30, and
then the rental car place calls us back and the manager says "you can
just drive my car around the island all day" which in itself was shady.
so we go to this beach, which is uncrowded, and pretty. but there's a
shark net - shady. then we find out, it's not a shark net, it's a GIANT
MANTA RAY NET. this island cannot be more shady at this point. so we're
at the beach....sleeping, cuz the water is too cold. then we go to a
little tiki bar on the beach, which is actually really cool, until
derric gets his orderof fried chicken strips, which are actually grey
looking grilled chicken strips that are COLD. shashank gets wings which
are mostly bone, and i get fries with no salt. so, that's a big thumbs
DOWN on vieques. however, there are wild horses that run rampant on the
island. that is COOl.

also, derric and i saw this dude with this giant brick shaped package
that can ONLY be crack. mmm hmm. shady.
